Directions from Cork to Kilcrohane

• Follow the N71 west to WEST CORK

• The first village is INNISHANNON

• Then head for BANDON

• Then head for ENNISKEANE/BALLINEEN

• Then on to DUNMANWAY. You leave the N71 here. Do not take the N71 coastal route to Clonakilty or Skibbereen. Instead, go straight on and head for BANTRY

• Next town is DRIMOLEAGUE

• Go straight through Drimoleague and head for BANTRY but do not go as far as Bantry.

• About 15 minutes after Drimoleague you will pass a garage on your left – HURLEY’S Renault go past this
  You will then see sign on your left for CROOKHAVEN, DURRUS and the Sheep’s Head Scenic Route (this is the R591)

• Take this left turn – (f you pass Barry’s Garage on the right

• You have missed the turn off – do a ‘U’ turn on take the turning which will now be on your right).
  Follow this road to DURRUS (about a 5 minute journey)

• In Durrus take the right fork for Ahakista and Kilcrohane.

• The left fork will take you to Goleen and Schull.

• Bay View Cottages are in the centre of Kilcrohane village between the school and the Bay View Inn.
  Ardahill – take a right at the church and follow the road up past Fitzpatrick’s bar.

• Follow the road past the Community Hall and you will see 4 new houses on your left – your’s is the peach coloured one or the yellow one (I’m in the green one)
